RetireRight Military respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the RetireRight Military mobile application (“RetireRight Military,” the “App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the App.
1. Our Privacy Approach
RetireRight Military is designed so that information you enter for military retirement calculations remains on your device.
RetireRight Military does not collect, transmit, receive, or store your user-entered information on developer-operated servers.
The App does not operate a user-data server, does not require a RetireRight Military account, and does not transmit your retirement-calculation inputs or results off your device.
2. Information Processed on Your Device
To provide military retirement calculations and projections, the App may process information you voluntarily enter, including:
- branch of military service;
- officer or enlisted status;
- grade or rank;
- dates of service;
- projected or actual retirement dates;
- years and months of service;
- retirement plan, including High-3, Blended Retirement System (BRS), or REDUX;
- military pay information;
- disability rating or disability-related information;
- Survivor Benefit Plan (SBP) elections or amounts;
- retirement assumptions; and
- other information necessary to perform retirement-related calculations.
This information is processed only on your device for the purpose of performing calculations and displaying results.
RetireRight Military does not receive this information.
3. Information We Do Not Collect
RetireRight Military does not collect:
- your name;
- email address;
- phone number;
- mailing address;
- Social Security number;
- military identification number;
- financial account information;
- user-entered military service information;
- retirement-calculation inputs;
- retirement-calculation results;
- disability information entered into the App;
- SBP information entered into the App;
- location information;
- contacts;
- photos;
- advertising identifiers; or
- information for behavioral advertising or user profiling.
We do not sell personal information.
We do not rent personal information.
We do not share user-entered information with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing companies.
4. Local Storage
Information necessary for the App to function may be stored locally on your device.
This may include calculation inputs, calculation results, settings, preferences, or other information necessary to provide App functionality.
RetireRight Military does not have remote access to this locally stored information.
The App does not transmit this information to RetireRight Military or to developer-operated servers.
Locally stored App information may be removed through applicable App functionality, your device’s application-management controls, or by deleting the App and its associated local data.
Because RetireRight Military never receives or possesses this information, we cannot remotely retrieve, modify, export, or delete it for you.
5. Purchases and License Verification
Access to RetireRight Military may be purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Purchases on Apple devices are handled through Apple’s App Store and StoreKit services. Purchases on Android devices are handled through Google Play and Google Play Billing.
Apple and Google may independently process information concerning your app-store account, transaction, payment method, device, purchase, or entitlement in order to provide their services.
Those activities are governed by Apple’s or Google’s respective privacy policies and terms.
RetireRight Military does not receive or store your full credit card number, bank account information, or other payment-card credentials.
The App may use purchase or entitlement information provided through Apple StoreKit or Google Play Billing as necessary to determine whether access to RetireRight Military is currently authorized.
RetireRight Military does not use app-store purchase information for advertising, profiling, or marketing.
6. Analytics, Advertising, Tracking, and Third-Party SDKs
RetireRight Military does not use analytics, advertising, behavioral tracking, crash-reporting, or telemetry services that collect or transmit information from the App.
No embedded software development kit (SDK), library, analytics package, advertising framework, or similar component used by RetireRight Military collects or transmits user information, device information, retirement-calculation information, or other App data off the user’s device.
RetireRight Military does not track users across applications or websites.
RetireRight Military does not create advertising or marketing profiles about its users.
RetireRight Military does not sell, rent, or share user information for advertising, marketing, profiling, or data-broker purposes.
7. Third-Party Services
RetireRight Military relies on Apple and Google for services such as:
- application distribution;
- application downloads and updates;
- payment processing;
- purchase and entitlement verification; and
- operating-system and app-store functionality.
Apple, Google, mobile carriers, device manufacturers, or operating-system providers may independently collect or process information in connection with the services they provide.
Such collection is performed independently by those parties and is governed by their respective privacy policies.
RetireRight Military does not control the independent data practices of Apple, Google, your mobile carrier, your device manufacturer, or other third-party services that you choose to use.
8. Data Sharing
RetireRight Military does not share user-entered retirement information with third parties because RetireRight Military does not receive or collect that information.
We do not sell personal information.
We do not disclose user-entered retirement information to advertisers or data brokers.
Because retirement-calculation information remains on your device and is not stored by RetireRight Military, we ordinarily do not possess such information to disclose in response to third-party requests.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
RetireRight Military does not retain user-entered retirement information on developer-operated servers.
Information stored locally on your device may remain there until it is:
- changed or overwritten;
- deleted through available App functionality;
- cleared through your device’s application-management controls; or
- deleted together with the App and its associated local data.
Because RetireRight Military does not possess your locally stored retirement information, there is no RetireRight Military server-side copy for us to retain or delete.
10. Your Privacy Choices
You control the information you choose to enter into RetireRight Military.
You may stop using the App at any time.
You may remove locally stored App information using available App controls or your device’s application-management functions.
Because RetireRight Military does not maintain user accounts or collect user-entered retirement information, there is ordinarily no RetireRight Military server-side personal information for you to request that we access, correct, export, or delete.

11. Security
RetireRight Military minimizes privacy risk by processing retirement-calculation information locally rather than transmitting it to developer-operated servers.
The security of locally stored information also depends on the protections provided by your device and operating system.
Users should take reasonable measures to protect their devices, including using available passcodes, biometric authentication, operating-system updates, and other security features.
No electronic device or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
12. Children’s Privacy
RetireRight Military is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13 years of age.
RetireRight Military does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
The App does not maintain user accounts and does not transmit user-entered retirement information to RetireRight Military.
13. Government and Military Affiliation
RetireRight Military is an independently developed application.
RetireRight Military is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or an official product of the United States Department of Defense, the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), any branch of the United States Armed Forces, or any other United States Government agency.
The App uses or references publicly available military pay, retirement, and related information from government sources, which may include the Department of Defense, DFAS, and MilitaryPay.Defense.gov.
Use of publicly available government information does not constitute government sponsorship, approval, certification, or endorsement of RetireRight Military.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if the App, applicable law, platform requirements, or our privacy practices change.
If RetireRight Military introduces functionality that causes information to be transmitted off-device or collected by us or by a third-party service integrated into the App, this Privacy Policy and the applicable Apple App Store and Google Play privacy disclosures will be updated accordingly.
The effective date at the top of this Policy indicates when the current version became effective.

This Privacy Policy applies specifically to the RetireRight Military mobile application.
Until a separate legal business entity owns or publishes the App, references to “RetireRight Military,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the developer or publisher identified in the applicable Apple App Store or Google Play listing.
If ownership or operation of RetireRight Military is transferred to RetireRight Military LLC or another legal entity, this Privacy Policy will be updated to identify that entity.
